Linden, Brown Architecture is a collective of critical thinkers and makers based in Portland, Oregon. We collaborate with clients of vision, leading projects that express a deep connection to honest materials, dynamic spaces and inspirations of landscape.
We engage in the design of buildings as an act of exploration, discovering new insights and experiences in each project. Our work is informed deeply by place, respecting the roots of land, heritage, purpose and craft. It is driven by commitments to design excellence and collaboration—with clients, builders, artists and engineers, to find inspired spaces and a richness of lived experience, connecting the scale of the site to the scale of the hand.
We are designers as makers and share a deep respect for the traditions of craft. Our work is enriched by allowing the tools and materials we use to inform every detail. Our studio is the laboratory for this exploration and a forum to discover the possibilities in every design.
