L,BA wins Honor Award at Oregon AIA gala for Sequitur Winery

An esteemed jury of Stephen Mueller, Brett Randall Jones, Kate Michaud, Joseph King and led by Jaime Torres Carmona recognized the project with the program’s highest honor. Saying of the project:

“The preservation and reuse of this farm campus into a new winery is a masterful composition. The siting of each new and reused element and intricate interventions within each corner of the facility are reflective of the mindfulness of the architects. The Sequitur Winery is a great symbol of meaningful adaptive reuse-- recognizing the past and looking forward to the future. The silo stair, roof and window details-- flawless.”

4015 House and Studio

As a multi-phased project, L,BA began with an ambitious renovation of the existing mid-century house and subsequently designed a detached studio building for a Creative Director and his family. A holistic landscape design by Bothwell Studio compliments and amplifies the spaces between these buildings. The landscape is continuing to establish and we very much look forward to sharing more images of this beautiful project.
